Sales Tracking – Data Capture moved to SharePoint.

Problem:

Spreadsheet are great, but they have their limitations – Only one person can use one spreadsheet at a time.

In our client company, the tracking of sales opportunities is done via an Excel Spreadsheet. They have has grown and now more than one person needs to update the spreadsheet. People forget to exit the spreadsheet after updating and leave the office – “Who has left SalesTrack Open? **!”

Solution:

Move the spreadsheet to a SharePoint List. More than one person can update information at the same time.

  • Everyone can have their own sort and filter of the data.
  • Tracking of changes to the spreadsheet.
  • 5 most recent inquiries on the Directors dashboard automatically.
