To create a Holiday Booking Form to Save time in booking and administering company leave
Create a PowerApp used in Microsoft Teams for Booking, Accepting and Monitoring Holiday for the team and saving this into SharePoint
SIT have a robust easy to use holiday app that allows staff to easily view their holiday allowancem, see what has been authorised and how many days left. Management have a single source of the data in SharePoint.
The team at Springboard IT are constantly looking at ways to improve business processes for our customers.
Our internal work also reflects the approach we take to efficient business processes with simple solutions. As such we have for some time been using Power Apps to operate our holiday requests and management.
Often we see companies try to operate complex spreadsheets or purchasing subscription software to manage staff holiday. We feel processes like this shouldn’t require you to buy software and should be easy to operate for your staff and administration teams.
Using technology included in your Office 365 licence, we have built a PowerApp integrated with SharePoint and presented this with a user interface directly in Teams.
The Springboard IT Holiday Bookings Application uses your existing Microsoft user structure and security to enable users to log in and see only their own details. Teams also enables you to show the app to specific departments or members of staff and not show it to others.
The application itself manages holiday requests, checking availability with other member of the team, and gives the user the ability to check the progress of their requests and see their approval status.
All of this information can be held in SharePoint or shared with your preferred HR solution or database. The app remains in your control, and you can even create fields and additional questions within SharePoint.
This internal application can be reproduced and tailored for our customers. Saving you time and ensuring you have accurate holiday data at all time shared with your team.
